Workbench

I finally finished the workbench. Below are several pictures of the finished product. It is 7 feet tall, 8 long, and 4 feet deep. It has 12 power outlets, 2 halogen lights, and about 60 L-brackets. The underside of each deck contains a lattice of 2x4s (4 cross beams per deck), and each of the 10 pillars is a 4x4. I am not sure how much wieght it can hold, but I could not get it to move even a little by jumping up and down on it.

Plan Stands

Megan recently asked my to build her a plant stand for our deck. I decided that the oridinary plant stand just wouldn't do, and designed a 3 tier system of 4 tables. The idea is that she can arrange them in any order she wants, and keep plants at differing hieghts (for a nice vertical garden on our deck). All tables are built from a variety of woods and sealed for outdoor use. I think it worked out petty well, but you be the judge.
